FUSION ENGAGE Global Adventure
7th-8th Grade Tulsa Trip
The 7th and 8th Graders of FUSION Jr. High Ministry will be serving with CIY Engage Domestic in Tulsa, OK. Engage Domestic is a four-day trip that trains groups for a life of Kingdom work through service, worship, and age-intentional training.
At Engage Domestic, FUSION students will experience hands-on Kingdom worker training. Each church will get to decide which specific area of Kingdom work they want to receive training in throughout the week—Justice, Identity, Evangelism, or Peacemaking. Training takes place immediately following each morning session. During training we use speakers, small group discussion, scripture, and games to communicate deep truths in a way that makes sense to students and allows them to become a part of the conversation. At the end of this training we challenge each student to create an action plan for how they are going to use what they learned throughout the week to engage in Kingdom work when they return home.
At Engage Domestic students get the opportunity to experience Jesus and practice what they are learning through service each afternoon. It is vitally important that as Kingdom workers we do things with, not for people. To do that, we partner with locals – people we refer to as “city connectors,” who help connect us to local ministries that are already operating within these communities. The ministry we will be partnering with will be posted during the month of May. During this trip we will be housed at Metro Christian Academy.
Total Cost: $400.
Dates: July 10-14th
