Grace Point Church

Campus Development

westview1Grace Point has completed Phase Two of our ministry campus in order to meet the ever-increasing need for children’s space, worship space, and community space.

Grace Point Church has been on mission since 2001, growing from the McDaniel family of five to over 2000 worshipers on Easter Sunday, 2013. The church operated for five years out of the back of a trailer, meeting in ten different temporary locations before constructing its first campus in 2006. God miraculously provided over 19 acres on I-540 debt free. Generous givers gave sacrificially to enable us to pay cash for the land. Our growth continued, and a small congregation of only 250 believers committed to build for a future congregation of 500 or more. The growth projections proved to be off a bit. Instead of averaging 500, we averaged over 1000 in 2010, and are now averaging over 1200.

Due to our continued growth, we had a need for additional parking almost immediately, so we added 250 more spaces in 2014. Many times since entering our new facility last July, we have experienced at-capacity gatheings, prompting our Lead Design and Execution Team, our Trustees, and our Deacons to advance the planned expansion of our worship center, now complete, adding 300 seats for your friends and family. We also found that we needed more play space for our Preschoolers to help develop their motor skills in our weekly preschool program Kindle/MDO.

If you haven’t been a part of our EnVision Ministry Campus Development plan, this is your opportunity to help Grace Point better serve our God, our community, and our world. Visit www.GracePointChurch.net/Envision for more information.

Envision2 is an expansion of the original Envision capital campaign. These three additional expansions have or will cost us approximately $1 million beyond what we had originally planned for Phase 2.  We are in short, investing $1 million into Phase 3. Please pray about being a part of this work, which will help us meet the certain needs that will come our way in the near future.
