Who is your family? My better half, Brooke Bryant, is my wife. She is an amazingly beautiful and talented woman who has a heart for Ministry (I’m pretty sure she was one of the HUGE reason why I got this job, shhhh) and students.  She is almost done with her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.  We are going to wait on kids or pets for now and enjoy each other, the 75 students that come to youth, and our 3 Nephews (Sebastiaan, Brody, and Bryant) and 1 Niece (Nina).  :)

Where did you go to school?
I owned Howe High School, but sold it when I graduated in 2003.  I have a Bachelor's in Kinesiology & Health Studies from Texas A&M University – Commerce and a Masters in Christian Education & Youth Ministry form Dallas Theological Seminary.  (But I claim THE University of Texas Longhorns in all college sports.)

What’s on your TIVO?
Too much - Smallville, Heroes, Lost, Chuck, The Office, 30 Rock, SNL, Life, Amazing Race, House, 24 (wow, that's a lot of TV, but I don't have to watch commercials)

What’s on your iPod?
I'm kind of an ecclectic music listener, I'll make this easy and put one for every letter in the alphabet :) - Alterbridge, Buddy Holly, Charlie Hall (tie w/ Coldplay), David Crowder Band, The Eagles, Foo Fighters, Gustav Holst (Composer), Hootie & the Blowfish, Incubus, John Mayer (lots of good J's), Kutless, Lecrae, Michael Buble, Norah Jones (tie with Need to Breathe), Oasis, Paramore, Queen, Ray LaMontagne (tie w/ Ray Charles), Shane & Shane, Third Eye Blind, U2, The Verve Pipe, The Wallflowers, Xzibit (it's all I had in the X's), Yo Yo Ma, ZZ Top

What is something you want to do before you die?
To get on of those plane tickets that last for one year and allow you to travel to anywhere in the World (Basically take a year to travel the world).

If you had a “Second Life” what would your name be?
I'd have to say Jamiroquai - and I wouldn't let people call me by nick names...they would have to say Jamiroquai everytime.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Well in Texas - I'd have to say Texas Roadhouse & Chipotle.  In Arkansas - I don't know yet, people seem to think Glasgow's is good - will somebody take me there so I can judge for myself? ;) [Webmaster's note: Sorry, you aren't allowed to judge for yourself where Glasgow's is concerned.]

Who is your hero (besides Jesus)?
I would have to say King David, Paul, Moses, My Parents, My Grandpa, Job, Martin Luther King, Jr, Hank Aaron, Josh Hamilton, Tony Dungy, St. Athanasius, Superman, John Calvin, Piper, Mark Oestricher, all my mentors, Kevin Bouse, Bobby Cox, Mike White, Bobby Kacal...

What do you do on your day off?
Sleep, Disc Golf, Golf, watch a movie, go to a sporting event (a lot easier to do in Dallas)

What are you passionate about?
I'm passionate about family, I'm passionate about having a real and personal faith (not a safe one), I'm passionate about Students (leading them into a growing relationship with Christ), I'm passionate about building life-long friendships (not surface-level), I'm passionate about sports (Go Longhorns, Mavs, Stars, Cowboys, Rangers, and Team U.S.A.), and I'm passionate about living out the Great Commandment (John 13:34-35) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
