Grace Point Church is pleased to announce that after a long and prayerful search, God has led us to Devon Arredondo of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as our Lead Student Pastor. He and his wife, Elizabeth, met our students on Wednesday, December 4 and the church voted on Sunday, December 8 to call Devon. He will begin his ministry with us on January 2, 2020.
Devon Arredondo has over eight years of progressive student and worship ministry experience in a few different church settings. He is passionate about connecting with people and reaching the next generation for Christ. When asked what brings you the greatest joy in ministry, he responded by saying “helping people see the gospel of Jesus – that He offers things this world never can.”
His leadership experience with volunteers and staff has been characterized as influential. He is a collaborative leader who likes to think through things with others and that whether leading by title or not, he is always is of thought as a sounding board for positive influence. Those around him have also noted that he has a great read on the millennial culture and insights to speaking to the younger generations.
He and his wife Elizbeth have been married for eight years and have a great marriage. She is from Fayetteville and is a Category Analyst for Henkel here in Bentonville. They love to travel and try new things, especially food!
While our Search Team has talked to a number of candidates over the past 18 months, they feel confident that Devon will be a great addition to the staff at Grace Point. If you have questions, email info@ GracePointChurch.net.
