Grace Point Church Ministry Bank

At Grace Point, every member is a minister and every ministry is meaningful!  You see those people serving on Sunday mornings, Wednesdays and well… every other day of the week?  They are the ministers (members) who keep Grace Point Church on mission, doing what we as a church are called to do.  There’s never a lack of places to serve, so jump in and use your God-given gifts and passions to serve Him.

Not a member, but still want to serve?  Most of our ministry positions require that you join Grace Point as a covenant member.  Some positions, like those in which children and youth are involved, require a background check for the protection of our young ones.  There are a few positions, however, in which non-members (attenders) may serve.  Contact the person listed with each ministry need if you are interested in serving, and we will help you determine how best to get involved and/or move toward covenant membership.

Communitas Group Leader

Have you ever felt a nudge from the Spirit to lead a Communitas group? We NEED you!

We are praying for new leaders to arise from within our church family. Grace Point has several individuals, couples, and families that are seeking the connection and unity that comes from belonging to a group. Would you consider taking the next step in obedience to explore becoming a leader? We would LOVE to sit down and talk with you, encourage you, and pray together as you explore a journey in Communitas group leadership.

Foster Parents' Night Out

Our goal is to serve our community by engaging orphans, foster children and the under-resourced by mentoring, supporting, and encouraging children and foster families.

Foster Parent’s Night Out Support Team: We need 60+ volunteers for each Foster Parent’s Night Out event. These occur approximately once per quarter.  The only requirements to serve are a background check and a willing heart.

Guest Gift Team

Are you crafty?  Do you love to wrap presents like many do?  At GPC we want to offer a warm welcome to our guests by providing them with a gift.  You may even remember the one you received when you first tried out Grace Point.  To participate in this ministry, you will need to be available weekday mornings.  The team typically gets together at the church once a month for an hour or two to put the gifts together.  2 people needed.

Office Angels

If you are available Monday – Thursday we would love for you to join the Angels!  The Office Angels are a team of ladies that help out with office tasks such as bulk mailings, bulk copies, bulletin inserts and a whole lot more!  It is an especially great ministry for stay-at-home moms and those that have children in MDO.  We would love for you to join us!  Opportunities will be offered on an “as needed” basis, usually once or twice each month for 1-2 hours.  2 people needed.

Fix-it Team

We are looking for a few good men (or women) to join our team!  If you are handy with tools and would like to help out with maintenance projects at the church, you are perfect for this ministry.  Painting, installation and construction projects are just a few of the opportunities that present themselves from time to time.  Those who sign up for this ministry will be called upon as needed.  Much of the work will be done during normal church business hours, Monday – Thursday from 8:30-4:30 pm.  2 people needed.
