Easter hope Box

Happy Easter, Grace Point Family!

We are looking forward to having you join us this Easter Sunday, April 12 at 8:30am on Facebook Live as we gather together for a time of worship and celebration of our resurrected King and Savior Jesus Christ!

On Easter, we also will begin our new message series, DISRUPTION: When your world gets turned upside down. A disruption is an interruption in our assumption. We assume our rhythms of life will go as we planned, and then disruption intrudes without knocking. It forces its way in and collides with our normal. We don’t get to choose when disruption happens, so what do we do when it does? The only thing we can control in a disruption is our reaction. So much of how we handle disruptions is based on how we view disruptions. Together, we will navigate the new pandemic landscape and discover what God’s Word says about hope in a season of uncertainty, anxiety, and unpredictability.

If you’re reading this, then you and your household have one of our HOPE BOXES! This box is  something we wanted to do as a church to equip you and your household to come alongside us in our weekly online gatherings during this message series, as well as to give you pause for conversation, meditation, and a fun interactive activity that everyone in the house can be a part of.

Within the HOPE BOX are the following components:
  • Communion Elements: We will participate as a church family in remembering Christ’s sacrifice for us by observing communion during our Easter online gathering.
  • Conversation Cards: Each week over the next four weeks, we’ve provided two cards for your household to enter into a time of intentional discussion or for you to meditate on individually. Our prayer is that these cards would prompt time in scripture, remind you of the hope we have in Jesus through conversation and meditation, and draw you closer to our Father.
  • Hope Garden: This is a beautiful symbol of the resurrection of Jesus! This meaningful interactive experience is meant to remind you and your household of the hope we have in Jesus and His love for us. The instructions for this garden are at the end of this page.
  • Live Sent Guide: This eight-week guide equips you and your household with creative ideas to show and share Jesus on a daily basis where you live, work, learn and play.
  • Live Sent Sticker: This is a fun gift for you! Our hope is that you will display this sticker on your water bottle, car, etc. and that it will open up opportunities for you to share the Gospel with those you encounter.

We love you, we are thankful for you, and we are pumped to celebrate our risen Savior with you this Easter Sunday!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
