Accessability

to make the Gospel accessible to people of all abilities

Our mission

AccessAbility exists to make the Gospel accessible to all people, knowing that they are fully able to know God, love people, and live sent. We know that the Gospel is for everyone, Jesus is for everyone, but we recognize church can be an overwhelming place!

So, we want to make the Gospel accessible through facilitating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for individuals to be in community with each other and learn about Jesus. In turn, our kids and students go out and make the Gospel accessible to all people in their community with the unique gifts God has given them.

Prek-Preteen

We support kids who are differently-abled in PreK-6th grade on Sunday mornings during the 9:10 & 10:45 gatherings. A unique plan will be created for every child on the space where they will learn about Jesus best. This can happen in one of our sensory rooms with an adapted lesson and a trained buddy, or in GPKids with a trained buddy and any sensory supports needed.

Jr. High & High school

We want to encourage genuine relationships between our Jr. High & High School students who are differently-abled, and walk with them in how they can have a personal relationship with Jesus. We do this on Sunday mornings through a Bible study during the 9:10 gathering in one of our sensory rooms. Students are also encouraged to attend GPStudents on Wednesday nights.

Adults

We encourage all adults who are differently-abled to attend our main worship gatherings at 9:10 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings with the rest of the Grace Point family!

RESPITE NIGHTS

AccessAbility offers respite nights throughout the year for individuals in AccessAbility in PreK-12th grade and their siblings, while parents can go out and have some time away to recharge!
