CORE CLASSES AND OTHER STUDIES

January 26, 4:30–6:30pm: You may have heard us say at GPC that we want to be a church that "shows and shares Jesus in everyday conversations with everyday people." We invite you to learn more about what the Gospel is and what the Bible says about Gospel-sharing. Together we will dive into scripture, explore tools and tips for having positive spiritual conversations, pray for those who are far from God, and practice inviting others to experience a relationship with Jesus. March 2 & 9, 4:30–6:30pm: Curious about how God can be three-in-one? Let's talk about it during this two-session class on The Trinity, taught by Jared Stevens, in which we will explore the nature of God and the roles of the Trinity.

Childcare is provided. Light refreshments and coffee will be available. There is no cost for the course. Click HERE to sign up.
April 4, 6:00–9:00pm: Join us for an evening of exploration and conversation with Dr. Glenn Kreider of Dallas Theological Seminary, as we uncover practical life skills to navigate today’s cultural challenges with wisdom and grace, staying grounded in our faith while shining as lights in the world.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S DISCIPLESHIP EVENTS

WOMEN'S STUDY: When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try.

In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings, you can join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. Register for Tuesday morning HERE. Register for Thursday Evening HERE.
MEN'S STUDY (Mondays at 6am or Wednesdays at 7pm) The Epistle of James emphasizes practical faith and ethical living. It stresses the importance of living out one's faith through good works, highlighting themes such as perseverance in trials, the dangers of favoritism, the control of speech, and care for the poor and vulnerable. Its central message is that genuine faith must manifest in actions, aligning belief with behavior.

Dallas Theological Seminary Free Online Courses
In our pursuit to make holistic disciples of Jesus Christ here at GPC, our desire is to be best equipped with God's Word. DTS offers free classes around Scripture and Theology to help us in this pursuit. For more than 90 years DTS has been committed to teaching truth and loving well. The Bible is their central course of study – and every word in it is useful for building up the Body of Christ (2 Tim 3:16). DTS has trained thousands of pastors and teachers over the past nine decades, but their mission has always gone far beyond the borders of their physical campus. They want to train believers worldwide to know Scripture and allow it to bear fruit in their lives. That is why they have launched these free online courses. We believe the world desperately needs biblical truth, and these courses will help us reach and teach more people than ever before. Click the link below for information.
