Hello parents!
It has been such a pleasure being here at Grace Point! I’m so thankful for our church and the honor to be a part of discipling your preteens here in GPKids.
As we continue to commit to intentional preteen ministry, we believe that a curated event, specifically for our preteens, is the next step for them in their walk with Christ as we prepare them for GPS. With this in mind, we will be headed to Tulsa, OK for CIY’s SuperStart this Spring!
SuperStart is a high-energy, intentionally crafted weekend event for preteens to hear the gospel, learn Biblical truths, and be called to a life of Kingdom Work. This year’s theme is “Shaped,” where we’ll explore the incredible truth that our lives are molded by the choices we make, the people we surround ourselves with, and, most importantly, by the hands of God. For more info on SuperStart and its theme, visit https://ciy.com/superstart.
This event costs $99 for Early Bird pricing. The price will then be $120 starting January 22nd. This price includes their event ticket, hotel room, two meals, late-night snack, and a t-shirt. Sign up early to receive the Early Bird price!
I hope your preteen (and possibly you!) will be able to join us March 7th-8th for SuperStart 2024! Click the button below to register.

Frequently Asked questions
What grades can attend SuperStart?
This event is for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. This event is curated just for them as they use age appropriate games, teaching, and Gospel Presentations. We’re excited to offer this to their specific age group, while also creating something for our younger kids to look forward to in the future!
Want to attend with your preteen?
We would love for you to attend as a volunteer! If you'd like to attend as an adult volunteer for SuperStart, CLICK HERE
What does my child need to pack?
Please pack any necessary items for a single overnight trip. However, make sure to pack closed toed shoes, a jacket, any medicines, and their Bible!
Does my child need spending money?
SuperStart will have a merchandise store as well as minimal concessions for snacks at the event. Your preteens will be well fed, so these snacks aren’t a necessity. However, feel free to send them with spending money as you see fit!
My child has food allergies and/or other medical needs.
During registration, let us know what allergies and medical needs we should know. A medical professional will join us on our trip to administer any medication necessary for your preteen. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll contact you to get detailed notes for your preteen and their specific medical needs.
Who will be driving?
We will drive our two Grace Point vans to SuperStart and a small caravan of personal vehicles for luggage and extra room. Insured staff members of Grace Point Church and GPKids SuperStart leaders will drive them.
Who can I call to get in contact with my preteen if they don’t answer their phone or don’t have one?
Feel free to contact your preteen via their cell phone if they have one. We will have a “lights out” time on Friday night to ensure they get enough rest for the next day. If your child doesn’t have a phone, our adult leaders will have one. Russell’s phone number will be given to you as well. NOTE: If an emergency happens in NWA while we are away, please contact Russell first and not your preteen. That way, we can facilitate any information they need in the correct environment.
What is the theme for SuperStart 2024?
This year’s SuperStart theme is “Shaped”: where we’ll explore the incredible truth that our lives are molded by the choices we make, the people we surround ourselves with, and, most importantly, by the hands of God.
We are Shaped daily by our experiences, relationships, and environment. However, the most powerful Shaping comes from God, who has crafted each of us with a unique purpose for His Kingdom.
Your preteens will earn how to evaluate the different influences in their lives and lean into God’s Shaping process, allowing Him to mold their hearts and minds for the work He has planned for them.
